11th November Kiwi Release at Hunts Farm

Backyard Kiwi Release – a memorable experience

Two more wild kiwi are now kicking around Whangarei Heads
Mabel a healthy female and Tindall a handsome male who has joined Backyard Kiwi’s monitored birds and  will have his history recorded in our local kiwi profiles.

Special thanks to Morris and Morris Funerals  and the Tindall Foundation for your interest and ongoing support, Backyard Kiwi were delighted to share some of our kiwi magic with you.

Following an informative korero from Backyard Kiwi and a biology lesson from Todd as the light began to fade we all walked into the valley and both kiwi were released on Hunts tree farm.
