Backyard Kiwi is hosting the ‘premiere’ of “The Kiwi Release”, our 1st story in a pilot series of videos about the Backyard Kiwi Project.

Filming pest control story
This year Backyard Kiwi have worked with television director Mark Everton and a professional crew to produce 6 video stories. These stories touch on subjects of kiwi being released, kiwi monitoring, our Backyard Kiwi character, pest and predator control, Landcare, how locals live here alongside free ranging kiwi and a reading of the picture book “it’s my egg”. Each new story will be added to the Backyard Kiwi YouTube channel over the coming months.
